About SIS Online Lesson
Is there any registration or admission fee?
No, there is no cost to register as a member.
What do I need to get started?
You will need three things: a computer with internet
access, a headset (or microphone and speakers), and
Skype. We also recommend that you bring a web camera.
*You will be able to see our faces and feel more secure.
What can I do with SIS online lessons?
You can take one-on-one lessons via Skype. You can also download PDFs and videos. We offer a full range of lessons online.
Can I take lessons from overseas?
Yes, you can. You can take lessons from anywhere in the world as long as you have the necessary environment.
About Zoom
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a software application that allows users to meet with each other anywhere in the world for free. It has many features such as video, screen and whiteboard sharing, and more.
I was unable to participate in a lesson
because my Zoom or my internet connection was unstable.
Please report "trouble" in the completion report. Please test your Zoom after checking your internet connection. If it does not come back, you can cancel your reservation before the lesson starts. (However, if you cancel less than 2 hours before the lesson, we will collect 100% of your points.)
What should I do if I do not receive a call from the tutor?
1. Call the tutor's Zoom ID (you will find the ID in the
reminder email).
2. Try restarting Zoom (as there is a possibility that
the Zoom system is malfunctioning)
3. Check to see if there is any other software
running.
4. Report using the message function.
5. If you still cannot connect to the instructor, please
leave a message with the instructor and report "not
done" in the completion report.
About lesson and content downloads
Once I download videos and materials,
can I view them at any time?
If you save the downloaded materials to your PC, you can view them at any time. However, each video or PDF download URL has an expiration date. You will need to purchase the videos and PDFs after the expiration date in order to view them again.
Who are the instructors?
We have a wide range of instructors. For more details, please see the list of instructors.
How do I cancel a lesson?
You can cancel from "My Page" > "Lesson
History/Reservation Confirmation" > "Lesson Details" of
the relevant lesson. You must provide a "reason" for the
cancellation. Cancellations will not be charged if made
2 hours prior to the lesson start time.
Please note that cancellations made less than 2 hours
before the lesson start time will be charged.
When will I get my points back if I cancel?
Points will be returned immediately. However, if you cancel the lesson 0 minutes before the lesson start time, the points will be returned 60 minutes after the lesson is completed as "emergency cancellation". Please note that in case of emergency cancellation, 100% of the points required for the lesson will be consumed. Please understand this in advance.
How many lessons can I take in a day?
There is no limit to the number of lessons you can take in a day. You can reserve as many lessons as you like as long as you have available points.
Until what time can I take lessons?
Basically, you can take lessons 24 hours a day.
What do I need to confirm before the lesson?
There are two things you need to confirm.
1. Connection test of the headset and webcam
2. Approval of contact request from the instructor.
If there is a problem with the audio or camera, we will
not be able to refund the points even if the lesson was
not able to be taken. Also, if you do not approve the
contact request, the tutor will not be able to call you.
Can I contact the tutor before the lesson?
Yes, it is possible. Please check the relevant lesson page in the "Lesson History" and send a message from the "Message" field. If you receive a message from the tutor, it will also appear in the message section. When a tutor sends you a message, you will automatically receive a notification e-mail to your registered e-mail address. You can also check the message from the "Lesson History" page.
I want to check if my reservation was made correctly.
When your reservation is completed, a "Reservation Completion E-mail" will be sent to your registered e-mail address. Please check it. You will also receive an email notification of cancellations and messages from the instructor.
Is it possible to send feedback on the lesson?
Yes, you can. Please click on "Lesson History" in the side menu, then click on "Feedback" on the relevant lesson page. Your feedback will be sent to the instructor and our office. Please note that we may use your comments on our website.
What is "Favorite"?
The "Favorite" button is a feature that allows you to reserve your favorite tutors' schedule efficiently. If you find a tutor you like, click the "Favorite" button. The favorite tutors will appear in your favorite list. You can use the "Bookmark" function from the "Tutor List" and "Tutor Details" pages.
About membership registration and others
Does it cost money to register?
No. Membership registration is free.
I registered as a member, but I can't reserve a lesson!
Please register your information here. Once you have registered your basic profile, you will be able to reserve lessons.
How do you handle my registration information?
Your registration information will be handled strictly by us.
I registered as a member but did not receive a confirmation email.
It seems that the email service you are using (free email address such as Yahoo mail, Gmail, etc.) may put the notice from SIS Online Lesson into your "Junk Mail Folder". Please check your "junk mail folder" as well when you receive them.
I registered my cell phone address,
but I am not receiving any emails.
We reply to all inquiries within two business days. If you cannot check your e-mail, please check your spam folder as it may have been sorted into there.
Can I change or delete my registered information?
Yes, you can. You can freely change your information at any time from the Edit Profile page after logging in. If you wish to delete your registered information, please contact us using the form on the Contact Us page.
Once one person has registered as a member,
can multiple people use the site?
No, multiple members are not allowed to use the service. Please be sure to register one person at a time.
Can I cancel or withdraw from membership?
No. You must cancel your membership and then reapply for
membership. If you wish to cancel your membership,
please contact us using the Contact Us form and let us
know that you wish to cancel your membership.
There is no recess for monthly plans, so please cancel
your plan once.
I want to change my password.
You can change your password by clicking "Change PW" after logging in.
I have lost my password.
Please reset your password by clicking "Reset Password" on the login screen.

My received email is garbled.
Some older email clients are not supported and may
garble incoming messages. If you are experiencing
garbled text, please upgrade your email software or get
another free address (such as Gmail).
Even without upgrading, you may be able to correct
garbled characters by changing the character encoding to
[UTF-8].
