User Agreement and Privacy Policy

Please agree to the following terms of use before registering as a member of SIS online lessons.

1 (Member Registration Agreement)

This membership registration agreement applies to "SIS Online Lessons" provided by Kobe Sumiyoshi International Japanese Language School Co., Ltd. It establishes the rules for members to use.

2 (Scope of Terms)

Party B shall read this agreement carefully and comply with it faithfully when using this service. All information on A's website and information that Party A sends to Party B by e-mail or other means shall be deemed to be part of these Terms and Conditions.

3 ( Changes to Terms)

Party A may change this Agreement without obtaining the approval of Party B if it conforms to the general interests of Party B of this Agreement or if it does not contradict the purpose of this Agreement. In this case, the terms of use of this service will be based on the changed terms of use.
You agree to be bound by the amended Terms.
When changing this agreement, unless otherwise specified by Party A, it shall be notified to the method of posting on the website that provides this service
Unless otherwise specified by Party A, changes to these Terms shall take effect from the time they are displayed on the homepage.

4 ( Member Registration and Consent)

Those who wish to use this service shall install free telephone software (ZOOM) and register as a member by the prescribed method specified by Party A.
When registering as a member, please confirm that your communication environment is suitable for using the service.
Those who have registered as members (including those who have temporarily registered on the premise of registration) are deemed to have accepted the contents of these Terms of Use at the time of member registration.
User registration is limited to one time per person, and the free trial period is also limited to one use per person. If unauthorized use of the free trial period due to multiple registrations by the same person is discovered, Party A shall claim and pay damages to Party B.

5 ( Disapproval of Registration )

If any of the following applies to a person who wishes to register as a member of the Service, Kou may not approve the registration.

When an existing registrant attempts to register under another name
If there is a falsehood, error, or omission in the items to be declared at the time of application for membership.
When there is a risk of hindering the smooth operation of this service
If you have been expelled from Party A in the past
If Party A determines that it is inappropriate for membership due to reasons other than the above

6 (Start date of use of this service)

This service will be the start date of the usage period when Party A notifies Party B of the completion of this registration via e-mail.

7 ( Deadline for provision of this service)

There is no expiration date for this service, but registration information may be deleted without prior notice if no lesson (lesson/lecture) reservation has been made for more than 6 months.

8 (Cancellation of this service)

There is no particular procedure for canceling the use of this service (= withdrawal procedure). As stipulated in 7, we may delete it here if it has not been used for a long time.

9 (Refund)

There are no refunds or return of points for points that have already been purchased, regardless of whether they have been used or unused. The same applies if it is difficult to use this service due to failures in the communication environment, communication connection, communication software, connection status, etc.

10 (Lesson Details)

Party B shall purchase points in this service by either bank transfer or credit card, and Party B shall consume points when booking lessons.
If you apply to cancel a lesson booked by Party B using the cancellation form, Party A will refund the points to Party B within the time limit set in advance by Party A.
If the instructor did not attend the lesson due to a special reason on the part of the instructor or the lesson was not conducted properly due to a problem that was the responsibility of Party A, the severity of the situation determined by Party B then points shall be returned the Party B.
Please check the website of Party A for details regarding available lesson times, lesson hours, tuition fees, etc.
Even if the start time of the lesson is delayed due to the circumstances of Party B, the end time will be on time. In that case, points will not be returned.

11 (Disaster Countermeasures)

If it is temporarily difficult to take lessons due to reasons not attributable to Party A, such as sudden system failures, domestic situations, natural disasters, etc. Above, we will solve it by returning the points and setting a prospect for restarting.

12 (Scope of Liability)

If Party A cannot provide lessons to Party B due to reasons of Party A, Party A shall return points for lessons to Party B. A will not be held responsible for any other damages caused to B due to the cancellation of the lesson, even if the cancellation of the lesson is sudden.
Party B shall fully check the communication status and equipment settings before taking the lesson. No points will be refunded.
The copyrights of files, videos, images, etc. sent or uploaded by B to the lecturer shall not be protected by A regardless of whether they are public or private on this website.
If the site cannot be accessed due to server connection failure, Party A will restore it.and there shall be no compensation for opportunity loss of Party B.

13 (Protection of Personal Information)

This personal information that we have learned will be used in accordance with our personal information protection policy. In addition, it shall not apply to personal information conveyed from B himself to the instructor.

14 (Copyright and Ownership)

All copyrights and ownership of trademarks, descriptions, and logos related to this service belong to Party A. Party B is prohibited from using duplicates and redistribution.

15 (Exclusive Agreement Jurisdiction Court)

In the event of litigation between A and B, the Kobe District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance jurisdiction for A and B.

Supplementary Provisions This agreement will be enforced from January 1, 2019.
