To Uncle
Uncle, how are you? How is life going? Have you gotten married? How is your mother doing? Where are you living now? Are you living in a town you wanted to live in? If you are married, please take good care of your wife. As you grow older, you may find that your wife is the only one beside you. Please remember the time you lived in Japan. That time was very challenging. Teach these experiences to your children.
Please work hard at your job. Remember, you can’t take money with you when you die. Try to donate as much as you can before you die. Even if life is tough, don’t give up. You must have heard the Japanese proverb, “Fall seven times, stand up eight.” If you strive for the development of your country, the best will come to you. Continue doing what you think is right without giving up until the end.
How old are you while reading this letter? Reading this, please remember your friends from Japanese language school. Recall the time you studied together, and go to Japan once more to create new memories.
