Before Goodbye
I have been living in Japan for a year now. I have had various experiences and have become accustomed to life here. Although I can’t speak Japanese very well, kind Japanese people have helped me, so I have been able to perform well at work. Living in Japan, I think Japanese is important. If you can’t speak Japanese well, life can become difficult. There are many opportunities if you can speak it fluently. So, I am working hard to study. Japanese people are polite and kind. Moreover, I think Japan is a safe country. I like Japan’s winters, even though they can be very cold. However, I dislike the frequent rain throughout the year. I get cold easily, so I have to take care of my health. Sometimes, when stress builds up due to work or interpersonal issues, I miss my family. However, I can’t easily return to my home country. I will continue with my purpose. Studying with my foreign friends is enjoyable. I like the teachers who teach me Japanese and the way of life here. I truly want to say, “Thank you” from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget Japan and the teachers, even after graduating from this school or returning to my home country. It’s almost time to say goodbye to this school. I don’t want to part with everyone, but I have to, so I say “Goodbye” with a heavy heart.
