The Most Challenging Experience
I work at a bento (Japanese lunch box) company as a part-time job. My job is to put food into cases.
At the beginning, the assembly line was very fast, and I couldn’t keep up. The cases of the food I couldn’t put in piled up in front of me like a mountain. I couldn’t fit the food into the cases properly, and my supervisor was always strict and angry. The other women who were doing the same job could do it faster, so I felt very embarrassed. I was so sad that I wanted to quit the job. I even thought about going back to my home country. But I didn’t have enough money, so I couldn’t quit. I tried my best for about three months, but I still couldn’t do it well.
However, my friends from my home country and everyone on the line helped me, so I worked hard even though it was tough. My supervisor also helped me. Now, I’m okay. I enjoy my job. I want to become the best on the assembly line, so I go to work seriously every day. I work hard.
I will graduate from Japanese language school soon. After graduating, I want to attend a driving school. I will study hard at the driving school. My goal is to graduate from the driving school and find a job at a Japanese car company.
