Our school excursion took place on August 25th. For the first time, I crossed the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge, which is known as the longest suspension bridge in the world. The bridge is approximately 3911 meters long, and you can see the sea from there. It was incredibly beautiful. After crossing the bridge, we went to Awaji Service Area. I had to work there from 3 PM to 7 PM, so I had breakfast there. I also took some photos. The scenery outside was also very beautiful.
Next, we went to the port, and first, my friends and I had curry rice at a restaurant. It wasn’t as spicy as Sri Lankan curry. From the boat, we had a good view of the Naruto Strait and the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. The Naruto Strait was very beautiful, but the boat was rocking, which made it a bit scary.
Afterward, we visited an orchard. It was very hot, so we sat under a tree and relaxed until we got back on the bus. We didn’t go to see any animals or flowers. We also ate some Sri Lankan snacks and rice that my friends had brought. We had some juice too.
Finally, I slept on the bus all the way back. I was tired from waking up early, so I couldn’t fully enjoy the excursion. I would like to visit the Naruto Strait again. I want to go there with my family and friends.
