In my last year of elementary school, I went hiking in the mountains with my friends. We started in the morning and only hiked for an hour and a half, spending the rest of the time walking around the hills and the lakeside. It was my first time hiking, so while it was enjoyable, it was also very tiring. We walked to the lake, took a break, and ate the food we brought. The lake’s clear blue water allowed us to see the bottom, and some people were paddling around it to take pictures. We wanted to go to the middle of the lake by boat, but we didn’t have enough money for it. Since we couldn’t get on a boat, we continued walking around the lake after eating.
Near the end of the lake, we saw a herd of goats. We were surprised to see so many goats, including baby goats. They looked very cute, white, and soft. When we tried to approach and hold a baby goat, suddenly a tall man appeared with a long stick in his hand, which scared us and made us run away. Everyone’s face turned pale. After running and feeling safe, we saw the man again and realized for the first time that he was the goat herder. Then we went home.
When I got home and told my mother about it, fortunately, she didn’t scold me.
That mountain is my memorable place.
