My School

It has been a month since I started studying at this school. Due to the coronavirus, I am still unable to go to Japan and am attending classes online from Vietnam. It’s a bit challenging to take classes online. I’m looking forward to the lifting of entry restrictions so I can meet my teachers and classmates.

I searched for the school on Google Maps. At first, I saw a park opposite the school. It seemed like a quiet place with lots of greenery. I also found that there are many shops nearby, making it a convenient location. I can’t wait to go to Japan and attend the school. I hope the pandemic ends soon.

At the end of September, after an interview, my class was decided. I was placed in the N2 class. I was very happy, but I was a bit worried if my skills were up to the level of the class. At first, I couldn’t understand what the teacher was saying or which page we were on. But thanks to the kindness of the teachers, I gradually got used to it and think I have caught up with my classmates.

Also, I am very happy to learn various things about Japan online, even though I am in Vietnam. I haven’t met many Japanese people, but through the actions of the teachers, I have felt the goodness of the Japanese people. For example, I was surprised to see teachers wiping the blackboard themselves and setting up cameras for online students to ensure they could see the board clearly. I also felt the enthusiasm and independence of the Japanese people.

The hardest part of learning a foreign language is the more knowledge increases, the harder it is to remember everything. But if you keep trying without giving up, you can master even the most difficult material. I am also working hard to pass N2 as soon as possible.

I am currently 19 years old. I am still young and lack experience and knowledge. I need to continue studying various things. In the future, I want to gain experience as a caregiver in Japan and then return to Vietnam to contribute to the development of my country. Vietnam will continue to improve. It has many beautiful landscapes and the cuisine is excellent.

Finally, I have a message for my juniors: ‘Please study hard for yourself, your family, and your country. Keep striving.’
