Reasons for Choosing Japan

I come from the northern part of Vietnam. My hometown is very beautiful with picturesque scenery. It’s not as convenient as the city, but the neighbors are kind, and everyone is nice.

Now, I would like to talk about why I chose Japan. As a child, I learned about Japan through manga like Doraemon and Conan. As I grew older, I had the opportunity to watch videos of international students studying in Japan. Watching those videos made my desire to go to Japan grow even stronger.

I am interested in Japan’s science and technology and the advanced education and work style of the Japanese people. I previously worked as a trainee in Japan for a year, where I learned a lot of knowledge and skills from my Japanese colleagues. When I was working in Japan, everyone helped me in various aspects of work and life. It’s been two years since then, but they still care about my health and work.

Therefore, after returning to my country, my desire and love to go back to Japan have only grown. I studied pharmacy at a vocational school. I want to return to Japan to realize my dream of helping people in need.

To stay in Japan for an extended period, I am now going as an international student. After graduating from the Japanese language school, I plan to study caregiving at a vocational school.

Due to the coronavirus, I cannot go to Japan as planned, but I have been participating in online classes at a Japanese language school since October. Studying for N2 is very challenging, but thanks to the teachers at Kobe Sumiyoshi International Japanese Language School, the classes have become interesting. I am truly grateful. There are still many things I don’t understand, but I will work hard to achieve my dream. In the future, I want to return to Vietnam and contribute using the knowledge I gained in Japan.
