My Future Job

My dream for the future is to become a caregiver. I think it’s a very challenging job.
My grandmother became immobile 20 years ago. When I was in Vietnam, I often helped my mother take care of her. For example, I helped her eat, assisted with her showers, and kept her company. As people age, they tend to become more irritable. My grandmother often complained when she didn’t want to eat, but I never got angry. Some elderly people become childlike. Taking care of the elderly requires a heartfelt desire to do so.
My experience caring for my grandmother sparked a strong desire to care for the elderly. This job, which helps others, is very meaningful to me. Although caregiving is difficult, I believe it also has its enjoyable aspects. You can do various things with the elderly every day. I think it’s fun to share meals and sing songs together.
I feel that many elderly people are lonely. Therefore, they are very happy when someone takes care of them.
I wanted to become a caregiver for my grandmother, but unfortunately, she passed away. However, I have not given up on my dream.
When I chose a caregiving vocational school, my mother was against it. She doesn’t like the caregiving job very much because it’s very tough. She said that as a woman, I probably couldn’t do it. At first, I also thought I couldn’t do it. But as I learned more about the job, I wanted to pursue it. So, I will work hard despite the difficulties.
When I was in Vietnam, I also did a tough job. I worked in hotel cleaning. It was very tough, but I worked hard. So, I am confident.
There is a shortage of caregivers in Japan. They are always recruiting. Since I want to work in Japan for a long time, I think being a caregiver is a very good option. I want to acquire caregiving knowledge and find a job in Japan in the future.
The environment in Japan is very good. The air is clean, and the transportation is well-developed, making life easy. Therefore, I believe I can overcome any difficulty to work in Japan. I will not give up halfway and will strive until the end. While studying at the caregiving vocational school, I want to work part-time at a facility. After graduating, I want to obtain the qualification of a certified caregiver. So, I will study diligently. I want to become a kind and caring caregiver, treating the elderly like my own family.
