I am Vietnamese and arrived in Japan three weeks ago. Having been accustomed to life and food in Vietnam, I was surprised after coming to Japan. Japanese cuisine doesn’t suit my taste, and I can hardly finish most meals.

Since arriving in Japan, I am looking forward to various things. It’s winter, so it snows. I want to see the snow.

Due to COVID, it was difficult to come to Japan, and I was worried. My family always encouraged me by saying “do your best.” Now that I am in Japan, I think I will gradually get used to life here. After studying every day, I enjoy going to the supermarket with friends, cooking together, looking out the window at night, admiring the beautiful scenery, and listening to music. It feels good.

I will work hard and study diligently in Japan, no matter how tough it gets.
