Japan Through My Eyes

Since childhood, I have known about Japan through anime like Doraemon, Atom, and Conan. These animations were so interesting and moving that they inspired me to study abroad in Japan in the future.

When I first arrived in Japan, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Japan is indeed a safe and wonderful country.” Japan is not heaven for me, but it is the place where I can realize my dreams.

Upon arriving in Japan, the first thing I had to do was apply for foreigner registration at the city hall. I was deeply impressed by the passionate and meticulous attitude of the staff there towards the residents. This same attitude was shown to me at the Yucho Bank when opening an account, and everywhere else I went, whether shopping or visiting other places. Such attitudes of the Japanese people warmed my heart.

What also surprised me was the relationship between pedestrians and drivers when crossing the street. The drivers are very kind. Most of them stop to let pedestrians cross.

Conversely, when a pedestrian steps back to let a car pass, the driver never forgets to bow and greet. Even among strangers, there is always a smile and greeting. I am deeply moved by such manners of the Japanese people.

I think Japan’s scenery is more beautiful than any other country. When I arrived in Japan, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Wherever I went, I could see the beauty of the cherry blossoms, a symbol of Japan. Near where I live, there is a beautiful long row of cherry trees along the river, where I fully enjoyed the beauty of the cherry blossoms.

Now it’s autumn, and the cold wind is blowing. The fallen ginkgo leaves shivering in the cold have dyed the road to school yellow.

Speaking of autumn leaves, I recently went to see them on Mount Rokko with the manager and colleagues of the newspaper distribution store. The mountain dyed red with autumn leaves was very beautiful. It’s a very enjoyable memory.
