Letter to Parents

Dear Dad and Mom, I truly thank you for raising me. When I was a child, despite being tired from work, Dad, you always made time to play with me on your days off. I was so happy. In elementary school, I remember falling off a cart and hitting my head on a rock. Dad, you took a day off work and carried me to the hospital on your back. That memory still scares me a bit. Mom, you were always smiling and made delicious meals. When I did something bad, instead of scolding me, you would start another conversation, making me reflect on my mistakes. In my eyes, Mom, you are a very kind person.

After graduating high school, I decided to go to university in Ho Chi Minh City. Many people asked me why I chose such a distant place, but you, Dad and Mom, never questioned it and fully supported me. Since childhood, you let me freely pursue what I wanted, trusting my choices.

I chose a faraway university to become independent and strengthen myself. Going to Ho Chi Minh City meant living alone, far from family. With no parents or friends nearby, I worried about what I would do if I got sick or faced troubles. To solve any problem, I had to be mentally strong. Even from afar, you both always encouraged and supported me. That’s why I could work hard through any hardship.

As I approached university graduation, while most people looked for jobs, I decided to go to Japan to learn in a different environment. Mom, you opposed at first, worried about me. But after much thought, my decision was firm. Dad, you then told me, “Go where you want, do what you wish. Don’t look back with regret. Do your best.” Dad, you’re always like that. Encouraged by your words, I came to Japan with high spirits.

Now, a year and a half has passed since I arrived in Japan. Time flies. Despite the time difference, I still contact you every weekend to share what’s happening in my daily life. Because of your support, I can live each day brightly and energetically.

Thanks to your love, I’ve been able to lead such a fulfilling life. Thank you so much. I love you, Dad and Mom. So, please always stay healthy. I will never forget the love you have given me.

Thank you for raising me in such a bright and fun way. And please continue to support me in the future. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart!

Love Love Love♥♥♥
