Japan and Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka, like Japan, is surrounded by the sea. It is a small island nation floating near India, surrounded by several small islands. Japan has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, but Sri Lanka does not have distinct seasons. It is always hot.
In Japan, Japanese is spoken. There is no single religion; various religions such as Buddhism and Christianity are practiced. In Sri Lanka, too, various religions are followed. Additionally, in Sri Lanka, there are Sinhalese, Tamils, and people who believe in Islam. The staple food in Sri Lanka is rice. Most of the vegetables eaten in Japan are also cultivated in Sri Lanka. Japan is an economically advanced country, with flourishing automobile and electronics industries. The main industries in Sri Lanka are coconut, tea, and rubber. Although Sri Lanka’s economy is not high, people always work diligently.
