My Japanese Experience

What kind of country is Japan? It is just as I imagined, a peaceful and wonderful country.
The first thing you need to do when you come to Japan is to register as a foreigner. At that time, the officials at the city office were enthusiastic and treated me politely. Even when I went to open a bank account or go shopping later on, I received the same level of service everywhere. I was deeply impressed by the attitude of the Japanese people.
Furthermore, I think Japan’s scenery is more beautiful than any other country. When I came to Japan, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Wherever I went, I could see the beauty of Japan’s symbol, cherry blossoms. And in autumn, I went to see the autumn leaves with friends. I also enjoyed the beauty of autumn.
What kind of school is the Kobe Sumiyoshi International Japanese Language School? The school had enjoyable and very useful classes, as well as various fun events. I remember the August field trip. At that time, there was a typhoon approaching, but it didn’t rain. We went to Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion) and Arashiyama. It was a fun and unforgettable memory.
The teachers had experience, and I feel that they taught us not only as teachers but also as if we were their own children. Teacher Tanabe spoke with a smile and is a very kind teacher. The teachers supported the students, and if there was something we didn’t understand, they explained it in detail until we did. Teacher Hagihara is a kind teacher. She not only taught Japanese but also taught us about Japanese life and customs. Teacher Tajiri is a Japanese teacher, but she is also very skilled in English. I aspire to reach her level someday. Teacher Hatakeyama always had humor, so even if I was sleepy during class, I couldn’t fall asleep.
During these two years, I was able to interact with students from countries such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka, China, and Myanmar. I want to cherish this period.
That concludes my Japanese experience. Right now, I feel proud to be here and to have been able to study in such a good educational environment.
