My School
It’s been over a year since I’ve been living in Japan. I study at the Kobe Sumiyoshi International Japanese Language School. The name of the school is quite long, isn’t it? I will be graduating soon. When I first came to Japan, I wasn’t accustomed to Japanese life, so it was challenging. However, the teachers were kind and taught me helpful things, which gradually helped me adapt to life in Japan. Thanks to the teachers, my Japanese language skills have improved, and I have also learned about Japanese culture from them. For example, during the Tanabata festival, we all wrote our wishes on strips of paper and decorated bamboo branches together. Studying Japanese is very, very difficult, but I think teaching it is even more challenging. I am truly grateful to my teachers for their guidance. Actually, I still haven’t memorized the name of my class teacher, and I apologize for that. I intend to remember it before I graduate. However, with the teacher’s advice, I was able to choose my next school. I still don’t know if the next school will be good for me, but I will do my best. I sincerely believe that this school has been the best for me.
