My pet is a dog named “Chou.” I have loved dogs since I was a child. At that time, my family didn’t have a dog as a pet. Every day, when I saw dogs in the neighborhood, I wished we had one at home. So, I saved money every day, and I also saved the money I received for helping my parents with their work. After about two months of saving, I was finally able to buy a dog of my own. It was a little puppy, and I was quite scared at first. The puppy wasn’t used to me either, but after about three to four months, it stopped barking at me, even during meal times. From then on, we played together every day, went for walks, and did many things together. Chou ate a lot but didn’t get too big, and it gradually became cleaner. Despite eating so much, Chou never got too big and was often called “pig-like” even though he was a dog. He was truly an adorable, chubby dog. It’s been a long time since I last saw Chou. I wonder if he remembers me. I really want to see him again soon.
