Since I was a child, I have always wanted to go abroad. There are many countries, but when I was in high school, I wanted to go to Japan. That’s when I first started studying Japanese, for about six months, in Sri Lanka.
After that, I came to Japan in April 2016 to fulfill my dream. It was a bit lonely being away from my family, but I gradually got used to life in Japan. I entered a Japanese language school to study Japanese further. And I started studying hard for my dream. I studied a lot of kanji, grammar, and more. I worked part-time diligently as well. My country and life in Japan are completely different, so it was tough at first, but now I’m fine.
Now, I want to enter a vocational school to make my dream come true. I came to Japan because I want to work in a Japanese hotel. After graduating from school, I want to attend a vocational school for two more years and study about hotel management. After that, I want to work in a Japanese hotel. My dream is to work in a Japanese hotel, and I intend to continue studying hard for it in the future.
