In April last year, I came to Japan. Coming to Japan, I was surprised by many things. Japan was completely different from what I had imagined. When I stood in front of the Japanese language school, I was very surprised. Although it was a school, it wasn’t very big, and there weren’t many students. In Vietnam, during the entrance ceremony, students would gather in the schoolyard, but here, the ceremony was held in a small room. However, the small room made me feel more at ease.
The day of my first class was cold. Before going to school, I wondered, “What will the classes be like, what about the teachers and classmates, will it be strict?” When I arrived at school, everyone greeted me with a smile. The teacher said, “Is everyone cold? Please take care,” which warmed my heart. In class, no matter how many questions we students had, the teacher always explained things slowly and in detail.
There are students from various countries at the school. Therefore, by talking with my classmates, I was able to learn about other countries’ cultures. Moreover, by speaking with friends and teachers, I could practice Japanese. At every speech meeting, I talked about myself and listened to my friends’ stories.
Time has passed quickly, and now I am in my second year. I am currently preparing to enter university. The teachers are helping me. They introduced me to universities and explained how to fill out the documents. The teachers never got angry and gave me a lot of advice. For me, the school is like a home. The teachers are like mothers. My friends are like siblings.
Every day, going to school, I felt everyone’s warmth. I occasionally went out to eat or on trips with my friends. In these two years, I made many memories that I will never forget.
In March next year, I will graduate. I will no longer be able to study at this school. With memories of my teachers and friends in my heart, I will study hard in a new place.
