Gratitude to the Teachers
It’s been almost two years since I came to Japan, and I will graduate in about three months. Time flies. But as Ms. Oku said, “Even after graduation, this school will always be everyone’s alma mater.” I will never forget this school.
The teachers here have taught me many things. Not only Japanese but also about Japanese people and customs. When I first came to Japan, I couldn’t speak anything and couldn’t understand when Japanese people talked to me. But the teachers at this school spoke and explained things slowly, so I gradually came to understand. The teachers’ classes are always interesting and easy to understand. They speak in simple Japanese and use gestures. The students can enjoy the classes without feeling pressured. Moreover, the teachers always support us. I was so sad and didn’t want to do anything when I failed the N2 exam in December. But then, I consulted with the teacher and received advice. The teacher gave me homework every day, which I did at home and then the teacher checked. If I didn’t understand something, the teacher explained it properly. I was determined to pass, hoping to meet the teacher’s expectations. And finally, I passed the N2 exam. It’s all thanks to the teacher.
Thank you for all your support up to now. The teachers have always held our hands and walked step by step with us. I don’t know what the future holds, but still, I want to move forward.
I want to return to Vietnam. I want to be with my parents. But I will not return until I realize my dream. So, for my family waiting for my “I’m home,” and for the teachers’ support, I will not give up and will chase my dream until the end. I will keep trying.
I am sorry for all the trouble I have caused so far. Thank you for taking care of me. I will never forget.
